VGig让速率高达7Gbps的高速定向连接成为了可能。超高清电视(又叫4K)的分辨率高达如今1080p高清电视的4倍,在许多应用环境下它需要更高的带宽。WiOCity是专业开发60GHz千兆级无线芯片组的厂商,而DisplayLink是专门提供USB图形技术的厂商。近日,两家公司携手演示了即便面对这样庞大的数据,照样能够将4K内容从笔记本电脑无线传送到显示器的技术。
