为了使照明和“光”的艺术性与历史城市文化相结合,进一步挖掘城市的潜在魅力,提高区域知名度,选取了历史城市的照明灯光节作为研究案例,通过文献资料搜集、整理、分析以及实地考察,推导出现今历史城市成功举办照明灯光节所需具备的自身特点与共性,即与城市历史文化相结合,重视社会参与度与公共艺术性,利用先进的照明技术与亲环境设计理念,满足大众的创意性需求。以浙江省临海市为例,结合中小型历史城市的自身特点,从举办照明灯光节的必要性和可行性入手,试图将照明设计融入到城市发展规划中,并主动引导城市发展。
