自我改造和民主监督是加强干部队伍建设的两个方面。自我改造,是指通过干部内在的修养、改造,使自身得到不断提高和发展;民主监督,旨在通过外在的监督、约束,促进干部的不断完善。加强自我改造是每一个领导干部面临的一项长期而紧迫的任务,加强民主监督是新时期党的建设面临的重大课题。在新的历史条件下,重视领导干部的自我改造,加强对领导干部的民主监督,对于改善党的领导,培养和造就无产阶级事业接班人,无论在理论上还是在实践上都具有重要的意义。
Self-improvement and democratic oversight are two aspects of building a contingent of cadres.
