’99 Beijing International Coin Expo was held from November 11 to November 13, 1999 at China World Trade Center in Beijing. To this end, the People’s Bank of China issued a panda plus a silver coin. This exposition, approved by the Ministry of Culture and the People’s Bank of China, is co-sponsored by China National Gold Coin Corporation, China Banknote Coinage Corporation and China National Coin Museum. Its purpose is to promote Chinese culture, enhance the exchange of Chinese and foreign coin culture and coinage technology, Make friends at home and abroad in the money sector, expand the channels of cooperation and the international influence of our country, popularize the knowledge of coins, strengthen the collection of coins, further develop the domestic coin market and promote the development of our country
