大斜度井和水平井中的稳定器需要满足多种要求,其主要任务就是保证管柱与井眼间具有足够的间隙。另外稳定器应该还有助于套管与尾管的下入,并允许管柱旋转。通常由钢和不同的合金材料所制造的弓型稳定器也引入到刚性稳定器设计中去,这些合金包括铝和锌—铝合金。调查表明,对于刚性稳定器来说,钢材仍是首选的材料。同其它材料相比,在泥浆湿润条件下钢与地层和管柱表面的摩擦系数和磨损速率都较低。本文论述了上述有关调查的细节,并介绍两种由钢材制造的、专门设计用于大斜度井和水平井中的稳定器。
Stabilizers in high-deviated and horizontal wells need to meet a variety of requirements and its primary mission is to ensure adequate clearance between the pipe string and the wellbore. In addition, the stabilizer should also help to lower the casing and tail pipe and allow the column to rotate. Bow-type stabilizers, usually made of steel and different alloy materials, are also incorporated into rigid stabilizer designs, including aluminum and zinc-aluminum alloys. Investigations show that steel is still the preferred material for rigid stabilizers. Compared with other materials, the coefficient of friction and wear rate of steel to the surface of stratum and column under wet conditions of mud are low. This article discusses the details of the above investigation and describes two types of steel-made stabilizers specifically designed for use in high-deviated wells and horizontal wells.
