全军预防医学学术会议,于1989年5月9日至13日在北京召开。参加这次会议的有各军区,海、空军,国防科委及二炮等卫生部防疫处长、防疫队长、医学研究所长,各军医大学,军事医学科学院等单位的专家、教授,以及来自基层从事第一线卫生防疫工作的部队卫生人员等代表共140余人。总后卫生部张立平部长、军事医学科学院秦伯益院长,国家卫生部、北京市卫生局、中国预防医学科学院等部门的领导出席会议并讲了话。总后勤部刘明璞副部长到会看望了大家,并出席了闭幕式作了重要讲话,使代表们受到很大鼓舞。
