北京市第十三届人民代表大会第三次会议提出:“把未来建设世界城市作为北京的发展方向”。2010年北京的《政府工作报告》中指出,世界城市是国际大都市的高端形态,对全球的经济、政治、文化等方面有着重要的影响力。其具体特征表现为国际金融中心、决策控制中心、国际活动聚集地、信息发布中心和高端人才中心。所谓世界城市,要高于国际化城市,是一种更高端、更具影响力的城市形态。
The Third Meeting of the Thirteenth National People’s Congress in Beijing proposed: “Take the future construction of a world city as the direction of Beijing’s development.” In 2010, Beijing’s “Report on the Work of the Government” pointed out that the world city is the high-end form of the international metropolis and has an important influence on the global economy, politics and culture. The specific characteristics of the performance of the international financial center, decision-making control center, gathering of international activities, information dissemination centers and high-end talent center. The so-called world city, higher than the international city, is a more high-end, more influential form of the city.
