雁荡山坐落于浙江省温州乐清境内,形成于1.2亿年前,是一座典型的白垩纪流纹质古火山。为首批国家重点风景名胜区,国家5A级旅游区,世界地质公园。据说是因着“山顶有湖,芦苇丛生,秋雁宿之”而山以鸟名。雁荡山根植于东海,山水形胜,以峰、瀑、洞、嶂见长,素有“海上名山”、“寰中绝胜”之誉,史称“东南第一山”。
Yandang Mountain is located in Yueqing, Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province, and was formed 120 million years ago. It is a typical Cretaceous rhyolitic ancient volcano. For the first batch of national key scenic spots, the national 5A class tourist area, the world geological park. It is said that because of “the top of a lake, reeds, Qiuyan places” and the name of the mountain to the birds. Yandang Mountain rooted in the East China Sea, landscape wins, with peaks, waterfalls, holes, see, known as “sea famous”, “Huan wins absolutely” reputation, known as “southeast first mountain ”.
