Objective To investigate the relationship between neck length and obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) by measuring and analyzing median neck length (MNL) and lateral neck length (LNL). Methods Two hundred and seventy subjects who underwent physical examination at the physical examination center were selected to measure the MNL, LNL and hyoid height (MHL). The correlation between cervical length and OSAS was analyzed. Results The LNL / H ratio of male habitual snorers was smaller than that of normal men (P <0.05), and the LNL / H of female habitual snorers was smaller than that of normal women (P> 0.05). MNNs in male and female habitual snorers were shorter than those in normal subjects, with no significant difference (P> 0.05). There was no significant difference in MNL between men and men (P> 0.05). The MNL of snoring affected women was shorter than that of normal women (P <0.05). Conclusion There is a correlation between snoring and shorter MNL.
