我国各级广播电台、电视台,原先都是单一型的公共服务机构,面向公众提供的,也多是纯公益或准公益的公共视听服务。但是,随着改革不断深化,市场机制逐步进入公共领域,许多电台、电视台在坚持公共服务的同时,利用自身资源优势,逐步推出了一些商业服务。于是,原先单一的公共媒体机构,就逐渐衍变成了既有公共服务,又有市场服务的混合型公共媒体组织。
China’s radio and television stations at all levels, originally a single type of public service agencies, are open to the public and are mostly public or quasi-public audiovisual services. However, with the deepening of the reform, the market mechanism has gradually entered the public sphere. Many radio and television stations have taken advantage of their own resources and gradually introduced some commercial services while sticking to public services. As a result, the original single public media agency gradually evolved into a mixed public media organization with both public services and market services.
