百年新诗的发展与优秀学者致力于新诗研究休戚相关,中国现代诗论在中国现代文论中占有重要位置。改革开放初期新诗研究出现了高潮,涌现了一批优秀著作,近年又出现热潮,诗史研究和诗体研究受到重视。尽管新诗研究成绩巨大,但仍然存在问题,如研究者的偏执、研究方法的落后、理论缺乏操作性等。特别是新诗评论界的现状尤其令人担忧,印象式表扬性诗评甚至随意性炒作式诗评流行,缺乏人格高尚、业务精湛的诗论家和诗评家。新诗评论界亟待加强诗评家的人格建设和业务建设,有必要倡导“纯棉的诗歌批评”。新诗理论界和新诗评论界都需要高度重视研究技法,新诗的研究态度和研究方法需要更新。
The development of century-old new poetry is closely related to the outstanding scholars devoted to the study of new poetry. Chinese modern poetry theory occupies an important position in the modern Chinese literary theory. In the early stage of reform and opening up, the study of new poetry reached a climax, and a number of outstanding works emerged. In recent years, there appeared upsurge again. The research on poetic history and poetic style was valued. Despite the great achievements of new poetry, there are still some problems, such as the paranoid researcher, the backward research methods and the lack of operability of the theory. In particular, the status quo of the New Poetry Critics is particularly worrisome. Impression-based poetry reviews and even casual random poetry critiques lack the noble personality and expert poet theorists and poetic critics. Neo-poetry critics urgently need to strengthen the construction of personality and business construction of poet critics. It is necessary to advocate “criticism of pure poetry”. Neo-poetic theory circles and neo-poetic critics need to attach great importance to research techniques, and the research attitude and research methods of new poets need to be updated.
