许多食管疾患,如食管炎、癌和Barrett食管都累及食管粘膜,因此一种评价食管粘膜完整性的敏感正确的方法是很有意义的。现已建立了一种测定食管跨粘膜电位(以下简称PD)的方法。为了确定PD测定对诊断食管粘膜疾病是否有用,我们测量了家兔正常食管和急性实验性食管炎时的食管PD。家兔正常食管上、中及下段的PD平均值分别为-27mv,-28mv和-25mv,与Turner等人的结果相仿。食管炎症区的PD比正常食管的明显降低(P<0.001)。本研究的结果提示,食管PD测定是检出食管粘膜病变的一种安全、简单、快速而又敏感的方法。
Many esophageal disorders such as esophagitis, cancer, and Barrett’s esophagus involve the esophageal mucosa. Therefore, a sensitive and correct method to evaluate the integrity of esophageal mucosa is of great significance. A method for measuring esophageal transmucosal potential (hereinafter abbreviated as PD) has been established. In order to determine whether the PD assay was useful for diagnosing esophageal mucosal disease, we measured esophageal PD in rabbits with normal esophagus and acute experimental esophagitis. The average PD of the upper, middle, and lower esophagus in rabbits was -27mv, -28mv, and -25mv, respectively, similar to those of Turner et al. PD in the esophageal inflammatory region was significantly lower than that in the normal esophagus (P<0.001). The results of this study suggest that esophageal PD measurement is a safe, simple, rapid, and sensitive method for detecting esophageal mucosal lesions.
