随着21世纪科学技术的迅速发展,新课程标准对我们培养高素质英语人才,全面提高英语教学质量提出了更高的要求。当前,在我国广大农村地区普遍存在着英语教师个人素质低、教学能力弱、职业道德认同感低、自我发展的意识淡薄等现象。学生获得良好发展的必要前提是优秀教师的引导,目前教育现状不容乐观,农村地区教育水平的滞后,严重制约着我国整体教育水平,要达到新课程标准对英语教学质量普遍提高的要求,提高英语教师自身素质是当务之急。
With the rapid development of science and technology in the 21st century, the new curriculum standards put forward higher requirements for us to cultivate high-quality English talents and comprehensively improve the quality of English teaching. At present, there are widespread phenomena in English rural areas such as low personal qualities, weak teaching ability, low recognition of professional ethics and weak awareness of self-development. The necessary prerequisite for students to obtain good development is the guidance of excellent teachers. At present, the current educational situation is not optimistic. The lagging education level in rural areas seriously restricts the overall education level in our country. To meet the general standard of new curriculum standards for improving English teaching quality, Teachers’ own quality is a top priority.
