书法发展到今天,随着实用功能的消退,艺术价值高度凸显,成为其最主要的属性。在这一替代转化的过程当中,书法艺术从审美追求、品评标准到学习方法各方面,也都在不知不觉中发生了新的变化。与此同时,一批秉赋聪敏,善学敢变的实力派书家乘势而起,为当代书法的发展注入了新的活力与生机。吴东民便是这个群体中脱颖而出的代表性人物。
