本文主要通过结合希腊古典盛期的艺术发展状况与柏拉图关于艺术的模仿理论来探讨希腊艺术在西方艺术史上所取得的奠基性成就。通过现存的相关作品和文献考察了柏拉图时代希腊绘画和雕塑的发展状况,勾勒出柏拉图的模仿论在生成之时所面对的希腊艺术的环境。在此基础上,对柏拉图所提出的模仿理论进行了简要总结和讨论,分析了其对当时希腊艺术作品所做出的判断和评价。柏拉图不仅抓住了当时希腊艺术那些重要的时代特征,同时也奠定了后世思考艺术的基本思维方式,与艺术作品一起构成了一整套希腊艺术的遗产。
This paper mainly discusses the foundation achievements of Greek art in the history of Western art by combining the development of the art in Greek classical peak period and Plato’s imitation theory of art. Through the existing related works and literature, this paper examines the development of Greek paintings and sculptures in the Platonic era and outlines the environment of Greek art faced by Plato’s theory of imitation. On this basis, I briefly summarize and discuss the imitation theory put forward by Plato, and analyze its judgment and evaluation of the Greek works of art at that time. Plato not only captured the important characteristics of the times of the Greek art, but also laid the basic thinking way of thinking about art in later ages. Together with the works of art, Plato formed a complete set of the legacy of Greek art.
