新的一年中,[设计批评]栏目将每个月如期出现在《美术观察》上,我们会一如既往地体现关注现实问题和前沿问题、发掘设计领域年轻作者的学术追求。本期刊登的《2009中国平面设计行业回眸》是一篇对中国平面设计行业发展的r度观察报告。中国的平面设计行业经过三十多年的发展,在行业内却一直没有形成诸如“年鉴”“大事记”这样的历史记录整理机制,不但如此,就连学界对于中国当代平面设计史的研究也属凤毛麟角。因此我们想到了以设计批评的方式,记录并反思刚刚过去的一年中国平面设计行业的一些重要事件。这样做既是为今后的设计史研究积累史料,也是表达对新的一年平面设计行业发展的某种关切。《2010:中国设计值得期待的10个议题》一文则可以看作是一篇稿约——我们希望围绕(但不限于)这些设计议题,唤起人们对于中国设计行业更多的关注与思考。
In the new year, the column “Design Criticism” will appear on the “Art Watch” every month as scheduled. We will, as always, focus on the real issues and cutting-edge issues and explore the academic pursuits of young writers in the field of design. This issue of “2009 China Graphic Design Review” is an article on China’s graphic design industry development r observation report. After more than thirty years of development, the graphic design industry in China has not formed a historical record arrangement mechanism such as Yearbook, Memorabilia in the industry. Therefore, we came up with the idea of design criticism to record and reflect on some important events in the Chinese graphic design industry in the just past year. This will not only accumulate historical data for the future study of design history, but also express some concern for the development of the graphic design industry in the new year. The article entitled “2010 China: 10 Worthy of Looking Ahead” can be seen as a draft article - we hope to arouse more attention and reflection on China’s design industry around (but not limited to) these design issues.
