Evonik Degussa (China) Co., Ltd.has concluded a technological cooperationagreement with Luoyang Ship Material Research Institute (CSIC No.725 Research Institute) on SOLIMIDE polyimide foam for insulation.Both parties will carry out wide-range cooperation on application technologyand promoting insulation materials upgrade for ship cabins so as toimprove the habitability of various sorts of ships.SOLIMIDE polyimide foam insulating materials produced by Evonikhave features of very low density, excellent thermal stability, fire resistanceand acoustic absorption, along with easy construction.It is the firstchoice for ship thermal and acoustic insulation materials.
