In the 21st century, education for development has become a strategic measure for all countries and an important means for all countries to increase their overall national strength. In recent years, China has made significant progress in the field of education, with remarkable achievements in its development. However, in the practice of high school English teaching, there are some problems that hinder the realization and improvement of English teaching effectiveness. This paper focuses on in-depth analysis and discussion of contemporary high school English teaching theory and practice of curriculum reform ideas, hoping to provide valuable reference for the study of related fields.
