On August 25, 2014, the pressure vessel cylinder of Unit 2 of Sanmen Nuclear Power was in place to its four supports, marking the completion of the lifting work of pressure vessel of Unit 2, the smooth lifting process, quality and safety control . Pressure vessel (RV) is the bearing pressure boundary of the reactor coolant system, which plays the role of core support and radioactive inclusion. It belongs to nuclear safety equipment. Reactor pressure vessel barrel weighs 279 tons, 10.2 meters high, 4.4 meters in diameter.
