北京大学出版社2005年9月出版的《国际商事仲裁与实践》(第四版)(下称《实践》)是近年来有关国际商事仲裁的一部力作。通常说,在各类书籍中,专业书籍是比较乏味的。而在法专业类书籍中,有关程序性的诉讼类(《仲裁法》大多被归人此类)的书与有关实体法的书相比,又更显得枯燥。从2005年10月购得此书后,笔者断断续续地读完这部厚达700页、字数多达86万余的专著。对于笔者逾千万字的年阅读量而言,这字数自然不算多。但笔者业余的主要阅读领域是较为轻松
Peking University Press The International Commercial Arbitration and Practice (Fourth Edition) (“Practice”), published in September 2005, is a masterpiece of international commercial arbitration in recent years. Generally speaking, in a variety of books, professional books are more boring. In law professional books, the books on procedural litigation (the majority of the Arbitration Law is classified as such) are more boring than the books on substantive law. After purchasing this book from October 2005, I read out this 700-page monograph with as many as 860000 words in length. For the author more than 10 million words in terms of annual reading, this word naturally not much. However, my main amateur reading field is more relaxed
