To commemorate Jean-Dingu’s 50th anniversary of “tribute to New York,” the exhibition “Under the Chaos” convenes 20 artists who uphold the concept of vandalism in Dingulli. How best to commemorate the disappearance of the “total work of art?” Perhaps the most free way may be to get a group of contemporary artists who do not care much about the disappearing original, let them exert their influence freely. At least this seems to be the curatorship of two curators, Gianni Jezer, chief dean of the Swiss Academy in New York and chief curator, and Chris Chalper, a very ambitious American curator living in Paris.
