2005年10月23日-28日在上海银河宾馆隆重举行“第七届国际地面沉降学术研讨会”,并取得圆满成功,这是首次在中国召开的该系列国际性专业会议。本届会议共有来自中国、美国、加拿大、墨西哥、意大利、荷兰、德国、瑞士、英国、法国、俄罗斯、斯洛文尼亚、西班牙、阿尔巴尼亚、尼日利亚、日本、印度、伊朗等18个国家250多位专家、学者参加,其中国外代表80余位,中国台湾地区8位。会议期间组织了四天12场共53个学术报告、专题讲座,并安排了实地考察和参观上海地质陈列馆,上海地面沉降监测展示馆浦江夜游等活动。
The Symposium on the Seventh International Land Subsidence was held ceremoniously at Galaxy Hotel in Shanghai from October 23 to October 28, 2005, and it was a complete success. This is the first international professional conference held in China. More than 250 experts and scholars from 18 countries including China, the United States, Canada, Mexico, Italy, the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, France, Russia, Slovenia, Spain, Albania, Nigeria, Japan, India and Iran Participate, including more than 80 foreign representatives, 8 in Taiwan. During the conference, a total of 53 academic reports and special lectures were held in 12 sessions for four days and arranged field trips and visits to the Shanghai Geological Museum and the Shanghai Subsidence Monitoring Exhibition Center.
