Primary dysmenorrhea (hereinafter referred to as dysmenorrhea) is the most common symptom of female college students during menstruation period. Because of the illness clinic patients account for 11% of gynecological outpatients in our hospital, it is one of the major diseases for female gynecological outpatient clinics. The purpose of this work is to investigate the pathogenesis and treatment of female college students’ dysmenorrhea and to provide information for the school women’s health care work. 1 This group of data shows that the average menarche age of female college students is 13.4 years.
