根据认知语义学的隐喻理论,语言中词义的延伸主要通过隐喻等认知思维方式实现。运用隐喻理论进行大学英语词汇及阅读理解教学,可降低记忆词汇的繁重度,提升学生阅读理解能力,让学生了解中国与英语国家在语言文化上的共性及差异性,培养学生的跨文化思维意识。
According to the metaphorical theory of cognitive semantics, the extension of meaning in language is mainly realized through cognitive thinking such as metaphor. Using metaphor theory to teach college English vocabulary and reading comprehension can reduce the severity of memory vocabulary and improve students ’reading comprehension, so that students can understand the similarities and differences in language and culture between China and English-speaking countries and cultivate students’ awareness of intercultural thinking .
