目前,外语教学的主要形式是课堂教学,学生在小小的二十几平方米的教室里度过四年的大学生活。课堂教学固然可以使学生系统地、按部就班地习得书本上的知识,然而一成不变的学习环境久而久之会使学生产生压抑和乏味之感。如果能适当地调节一下学习环境和授课方式,效果会更佳。本文拟就课堂教学与课外实践相结合的教学方法加以初步探讨。 一、如何使学生头脑中的想象变成现实 课堂授课在外语教学中是不可缺少的一个重要环节。由于没有外来因素的干扰,学生可以集中精力,在较短的时间内掌握大量的基础知识。学生可以对书本上所描绘的日常生活中看得见,摸得着的东西,进行一番充分的想象。这种做法毫无疑问可以发挥学生的想象力。然而,从心理学角度看,在学习环境单一、教学形式单一的情况下,在一定程度上会影响学生接受和掌握知识的灵活性和主动性。 要学好外语,必须具备良好的语言环境。 多变的环境,有利于学生积极思维,不断引起
