This article analyzes and compares six typical interconnect architectures for distributed systems. Content includes the transmission delay, transmission capacity, the number of chains, the impact of a single node or link failure, reconstruction and bottleneck six aspects. Analysis shows that the cube is the best of these six kinds of interconnection structure.
