党的十六届六中全会通过的《中共中央关于构建社会主义和谐社会若干重大问题的决定》指出,构建社会主义和谐社会,是我们党以马克思列宁主义、毛泽东思想、邓小平理论和“三个代表”重要思想为指导,全面贯彻落实科学发展观,从中国特色社会主义事业总体布局和全面建设小康社会全局出发提出的重大战略任务,反映了建设富强民主文明和谐的社会主义现代化国家的内在要求,体现了全党全国各族人民的共同愿望。作为我国武装力量重要组成部分之一的民兵预备役部队,在深入学习贯彻六中全会精神,扎实做好军事斗争准备,有效履行新世纪新阶段我军历史使命,为构建社会主义和谐社会提供坚强保障的同时,要充分发挥自身寓军于民、亦兵亦民的优势,积极参加社会主义物质文明建设,发展生产力,维护社会稳定,确保改革开放成果为人民所享,朝着“民主法制、公平正义、诚信友爱、充满活力、安定有序、人与自然和谐相处”的目标,为构建社会主义和谐社会做出新的贡献。
