我们正处在一个大变革的时期。新的时期,新的任务,要求我们树立新的观念,采取新的领导方式。在长期的革命和建设事业中,我们党积累了丰富的经验创造了许多行之有效的领导方式,是我们进行现代化建设的宝贵财富。但是,也有一些习以为常的领导方式,不适应新的时代的要求,继续沿用下去,就会阻碍社会改革的进程,乃至贻误我们的现代化大业。所以,对于过去的经验,凡有利于现代化建设的就要继承、发扬,不利于现代化建设的就要废除、改革,这应成为我们变革领导方式的一条准则。
We are in a period of great change. The new period and new tasks require us to establish new concepts and take new leadership. In the long-term cause of revolution and construction, our party has accumulated rich experience and created many effective ways of leadership. It is a valuable asset for our modernization. However, there are some common leadership methods that do not meet the requirements of the new era and will continue to be used. This will hinder the process of social reform and even delaying our great cause of modernization. Therefore, we must abolish and reform the past experience that is conducive to the modernization drive if we must inherit it, promote it, and unfavorable to the modernization drive. This should become a guideline for us to change the leadership style.
