由蒋氏工业慈善基金主办,由中国科学技术协会、中国国际人才交流协会和中国机械工程学会等单位协办的第五届国际制造科技会议将于1999年10月31日～11月3日首次在北京举行.由香港著名工业家蒋震博士创立的蒋氏工业慈善基金,自1991年起,每两年一次在香港举办“国际制造科学会议”.其宗旨是为中国人的制造工业和科技,特别是为机械制造工业科技的专业人员提供研习国际最新科技及管理策略、研讨未来动向、探讨合作项目等的机会.前四届已吸引了来自二十多个国家和地区的1800多位代表赴港参与,被誉为华人制造工业界同仁聚首一堂的国际盛会.
Hosted by the Chiang Kai-shek Industrial Charity Fund, the 5th International Conference on Manufacturing Science and Technology co-organized by the China Association for Science and Technology, the China International Association for Talent Exchange, and the China Mechanical Engineering Society will be held for the first time from October 31 to November 3, 1999. Held in Beijing, the Chiang Kai-shek Industrial Charity Fund was established by Hong Kong’s renowned industrialist Dr. Jiang Zhen. Since 1991, the “International Conference on Manufacturing Science” has been held in Hong Kong every two years. Its purpose is to manufacture manufacturing and technology for the Chinese people. In particular, it provides opportunities for professionals in mechanical manufacturing industry technology to study the latest international technology and management strategies, discuss future trends, and explore cooperation projects. The first four sessions have attracted more than 1,800 delegates from more than 20 countries and regions. Hong Kong’s participation has been hailed as an international gathering for the Chinese to gather in the industry.
