继美国地区法庭法官杰克逊宣布Microsoft公司滥用其在个人电脑操作系统方面的垄断地位,违反了美国反垄断法之后。近日,杰克逊对Microsoft公司垄断案做出了最终判决,下令将Microsoft公司分解为两个独立的公司,一个专营电脑操作系统,另一个则经营除操作系统外Microsoft公司目前所经营的其他内容,包括Office系列应用软件、IE浏览器等等,以防止软件业巨头Microsoft公司利用其在计算机操作系统的垄断地位进行不正当竞争。这一宣布在业界引起了不小的震动……
Following the United States District Court Judge Jackson announced Microsoft’s abuse of its monopoly position in the personal computer operating system, in violation of the United States after the anti-monopoly law. Recently, Jackson made a final decision on Microsoft Corp.’s monopoly case, ordering the company to be broken down into two separate companies, one that specializes in computer operating systems, and the other that runs other content that Microsoft currently operates in addition to the operating system, including Office series application software, IE browser, and so on, to prevent the software giant Microsoft to use its monopoly on the computer operating system for unfair competition.
