最新公布的艺术课程标准里面明确地提出:“利用对幼儿不同阶段所施行的艺术培训,使这些幼儿能够在这个过程之中得到一些比较基本比较重要的艺术方面的专业知识与技能,从而更好地实现艺术能力和个人素养的整体融合与发展。”艺术课程的相关设置也从最初时候的音乐,美术开始逐渐地进行交叉与统一,而且戏剧课程与舞蹈课程也开始逐渐地被设置在艺术课堂之中。这也能够为艺术培训的快速发展创造一个更加广阔的平台。但是,在河北许许多多的农村幼儿,艺术培训的发展却并没有那么乐观,艺术培训依旧还是很多学校培训内容中的“盲区”。艺术课的开设也大部分都是表面功夫,并没有得到实际的贯彻与落实。
