In the next decade or so, large numbers of perennial herbaceous plants may be planted on the lands of Europe and North America - grass as a fuel for power generation and is expected to truly replace coal and oil. Elephant grass is named for the elephant’s love of eating. It is a perennial herb in the tropical and subtropical regions. It grows faster. Plants can grow up to more than 4 meters. Silver leaves are very flammable. Experiments have shown that this plant can grow on most of the cultivated land without the need to apply fertilizer and is not plagued by pests and diseases. The harvested hay can be easily made into fuel for power generation in the power plant using existing technologies.
