海安县某水产养殖场少数池甲鱼发生死亡现象，患病甲鱼以雌性为主，不同程度出现皮肤溃烂、坏死、红斑、口鼻流血、眼睛失明等症状，用抗生素等治疗效果不好。发病率达40％，死亡率在15％以上。经病原体分离鉴定，菌种毒力测定及人工感染试验，确认由嗜水气单胞菌（Aeromonashydrophila）感染引起的败血症所致。
A small number of pond turtles in an aquaculture farm in Hai’an County have died. The sick turtles are predominately females. The skin ulcers, necrosis, erythema, nose and mouth bleeding, blindness and other symptoms appear in varying degrees. The treatment effect with antibiotics is not good. The incidence of 40%, the mortality rate of 15% or more. Isolation and identification of pathogens, bacterial virulence determination and artificial infection test to confirm caused by Aeromonas hydrophila (Aeromonashydrophila) caused by sepsis.
