卫生是一个与现代生活密切相关的常用词,也是一个非常古老的词汇。早在先秦时代的《庄子》就有出现卫生一词,在西方,卫生出自于古希腊的健康女神,代表着护卫生命健康的含义。若按照字面解释,卫生就代表着保卫生命、护卫生命的意思。在《汉语大辞典》中,将卫生解释为:养生和保护生命;谓谋生存;保护生灵;防止疾病,有益于健康。由于现代社会经济发展迅猛,影响人体健康的因素不断变化,特别是公众对于健康和健康权益的理解不断演进,卫生的含义不断得到拓展和深化。
Health is a commonly used term closely related to modern life and is also a very old word. As early as in the pre-Qin era, “Zhuangzi” appeared in the word health. In the west, health came from the goddess of health in ancient Greece and represented the meaning of safeguarding the health of life. If literally explained, health represents the meaning of defending life and protecting life. In the Chinese Dictionary, health is interpreted as: health and protection of life; that seek survival; protect the living; prevent disease, good for health. Due to the rapid economic development in modern society and the changing factors affecting human health, especially the public’s understanding of the health and wellbeing rights and interests, the meaning of health has been continuously expanded and deepened.
