北江大堤是广东省最重要的堤围,但由于修筑年代久远,修筑质量不一,堤防存在基础渗漏等各种隐患。为此北江大堤进行了历次加固工程,所采用的堤防除险加固措施主要有:填沙压渗、设置减压井、高喷混凝土垂直防渗墙、外坡脚抛石、筑丁坝、浆(干)砌石护坡等。本文对这些加固措施逐一探讨,认为北江大堤所采用的各项除险加固措施是合理、可行的,在历次抗洪中发挥重要作用,但以科技兴堤为先导,还需不断引进新技术和新工艺。
