传统的词汇教学主要是让学生死记硬背。重复的机械化记忆不仅增加了学生的负担,而且往往是事倍功半。然而在《牛津高中英语》教材中,有专门针对学生词汇学习的Word Power板块,其设计的主要目的是帮助学生理解记忆单词,扩大高中生的词汇量,提升学生的单词识记能力和词汇联想归纳能力。在进行词汇教学时,教师要抓住学生的心理特点和学习情况,充分利用的Word Power板块,合理利用教学内容,设计灵活词汇教学策略,培养学生自主学习的能力,巩固学生对词汇的记忆和理解,最终提升学生英语水平。
The traditional vocabulary teaching is mainly for students to memorize. Repeated mechanical memory not only increases the student’s burden, but often times less effective. However, in Oxford High School English, there are Word Power sections specifically designed for students’ vocabulary learning. The main purpose of the design is to help students understand memory words, expand high school students’ vocabulary, improve students’ ability of word recognition and vocabulary association Inductive ability.
