亚历山大里亚是公元前后犹太人最大的散居地之一。自从亚历山大大帝建立城市,历经托勒密王朝时期和罗马统治时期。在此期间,犹太人大规模迁入亚历山大里亚,这座城市终于变为犹太人在埃及的中心城市。犹太人和犹太哲学,对希腊化时期的文化融合做出了巨大贡献。犹太文化和希腊文化之间的冲突、碰撞和融合,也为后来基督教的形成打下了基础。研究亚历山大里亚早期的犹太社区的兴衰,有助于分析和理解城市和民族社区在希腊化历史进程中的地位和作用。在全球化的今天,多元文化之间的碰撞、冲突和融合愈演愈烈,犹太文化在希腊化进程中地位的兴衰,也可以为当今世界的文化交融提供一定的借鉴意义。
Alexandria is one of the largest diaspora of Jews before and after the Christian era. Since the establishment of the city of Alexander the Great, after the Ptolemaic dynasty and Roman rule. During this period, Jews immigrated to Alexandria on a large scale and the city finally became a Jewish central city in Egypt. Jewish and Jewish philosophy, made a great contribution to the cultural integration during the Hellenistic period.
