本文对英国《卫报》在2009年12月到2010年1月间对英国毒贩Akmal Shaikh在华被判处死刑的报道进行内容分析,探寻该报对报道内容的选择、对涉事各方的形象建构,包括毒贩、中国政府、英国政府以及毒贩家人四类主体形象的建构,《卫报》作为全国性媒体进行偏颇的、甚至煽动性的报道违背了新闻职业道德。 This article analyzes the coverage of the death sentence of British drug dealer Akmal Shaikh in China between December 2009 and January 2010 by the British newspaper The Guardian, exploring the newspaper’s selection of the content of the report, Construction, including the construction of four main images of drug traffickers, the Chinese government, the British government and drug dealer families, and the newspaper’s biased or even inflammatory report as a national media runs counter to the professional ethics of journalism.
