礼貌和面子是语用学研究的重要问题之一。本文从语用学的角度出发,对汉语文学作品中的对话进行语用分析,就汉语文化中面子观念对人们语用策略选择所造成的影响进行探讨。汉语文化强调个人在群体成员中的适当地位和适当的生活方式,反映了以群体依存为特征的价值观。因此,在语用策略上也多采用“贬己尊人”、“先褒后贬”等策略,以求不威胁到说话人的面子或者将对说话人面子的威胁减到最低,使得交际能够顺利和谐地进行。
Politeness and face are one of the important issues in the study of pragmatics. Based on the pragmatic perspective, this article makes a pragmatic analysis of the dialogues in the Chinese literary works, and discusses the influence of the concept of face in the Chinese culture on the choice of people’s pragmatic strategies. Chinese culture emphasizes the proper position of individuals in the group members and proper lifestyles, reflecting the values characterized by group dependence. Therefore, in pragmatic strategies are also used “demeanor ”, “praise and derogatory ” and other strategies, in order not to threaten the speaker’s face or the threat to the speaker to a minimum , So that communication can proceed smoothly and harmoniously.
