海南省东方黎族自治县八所镇南面约十来公里处的公路旁有两个村子,一个叫月村,属罗带乡管辖,一个叫那斗村,属新龙镇管辖。两个村子相连,约四、五百户人家,共2500余人。这两个村子的人一向报作汉族,但全都使用着一种非汉语的土话。这种话,他们自己叫作thε~(11)nlai~(11)“来话”,一般人称之为“那斗话”。1956年我们调查黎语方言时,这个地方属昌感县,是汉族地区,没有到这里进行语言调查。1981年我第一次接触到这种话,并作了
