坚持以人为本,是构建社会主义和谐社会的原则之一。从法律角度讲,坚持以人为本,意味着坚持法律面前人人平等,使每个公民的合法权利都得到平等保护。在我国,审判权、检察权来源于人民,又服务于人民。因此,在司法活动中必须坚持以人为本的理念,把实现好、维护好、发展好最广大人民的根本利益作为司法活动的出发点和落脚点,依法保障人民群众的合法权益。
Adhering to the people-oriented principle is one of the principles for building a harmonious socialist society. From a legal point of view, adhering to the people-centered principle means sticking to equality before the law and equalizing the legitimate rights of every citizen. In our country, the right of trial and procuratorial power come from the people and serve the people. Therefore, we must adhere to the people-centered concept in judicial activities and take the fundamental interests of realizing, safeguarding and developing the vast majority of the people as the starting point and the foothold of judicial activities and safeguarding the lawful rights and interests of the people in accordance with the law.
