本文导出了多模光纤系统中光波电场的自相关数,提出了相干性消失度概念, 并由实验验证。其次,在光纤接头耦合效率公式中,采用高斯分布描述模式间相位差因子的随机性,得出了比以往精确的数学模型——横向错位接头的模式噪声信噪比公式。最后,应用数值计算得到模式噪声信噪比与接头横向错位程度、相干性消失度、接头前光纤长度等关系曲线,结果与实验定性相符。
In this paper, the autocorrelation of the electric field of light wave in a multimode optical fiber system is derived. The concept of coherence loss is proposed and verified by experiments. Secondly, using the Gaussian distribution to describe the randomness of the phase difference between the modes in the optical fiber coupling efficiency formula, the formula of the mode noise signal-to-noise ratio of the laterally misaligned connector is obtained. Finally, the relationship between the mode noise signal-to-noise ratio and the degree of transverse misalignment, the disappearance of coherence, the length of the optical fiber before splicing is obtained by numerical calculation. The result is in good agreement with the experiment.
