From December 1st, 1971 to January 17th, 1972, a summary meeting on the reform of industrial building structure in the southwest, northwest and south-central regions was held in Chengdu. The conference was organized by the National Academy of Building Research, and received strong support from the Sichuan Provincial Construction Commission and enthusiastic assistance from the Sichuan Construction Industry Bureau and its subsidiaries. Participants in the conference were: 65 representatives from 33 agencies involved in the design, construction, research, and teaching of the construction of the Mainland in various industrial sectors and related provinces and cities. The purpose of this meeting was to identify and summarize the results of structural reforms of single-floor industrial plants in the Southwest, Northwest, and Central South regions in recent years.
