The landslides caused by the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake have caused huge casualties. After the earthquake, these landslides became the most important source of debris flow activity, greatly contributing to the occurrence of secondary disasters after the Wenchuan earthquake. In order to carry out the disaster prevention work in a targeted manner, the paper takes the Bayi Gully debris flow in Dujiangyan on August 13, 2010 as the research object, and uses the methods of field survey and remote sensing interpretation to analyze the topography, source and source of water from the debris flow The formation conditions of 8.13 debris flow in Bayi ditch were analyzed in detail. It is found that this formation condition is very good for the outbreak of debris flow. Meanwhile, the analysis method has certain reference value for the debris flow ditch under similar conditions.
