济南西机务段配属由美国引进的ND_6型电传动内燃机车共79台。担当济南——徐州、济南——德州和济南——天津间(四对直货)货物运输任务。牵引定数为3200~3700t,最大坡道为9.6‰(换算坡道)。截止1985年10月底总走行公里为9573075km。通过一年来的运用实践,我们认为该型机车具有牵引力大、检修工作量小、节油性能较好等优点,适合于长交路轮乘制和多机重联。但由于机车处于早期故障期,运用和检修人员对这种新型机车的构造、性能还不十分熟悉,机车本身也暴露了一些工艺、材质、设计等方面的质量问题。因此,运用一年来先
