美国著名奇幻小说家乔治·R·R·马丁所著的《冰与火之歌》,以别具一格的结构、情节和语言,迅速征服了世界文坛。从西方社会文化和审美意识的角度来探讨该小说中的暴力叙事,包括作品中的暴力情节和语言表达方式等可以看出小说对读者审美习惯和阅读期待所造成的影响。作品中暴力叙事的展现形式——战争、杀戮、鲜血和死亡等,是从内容和形式两方面分析该小说暴力叙事的特点,探究作者热衷于暴力叙事的种种原因及影响等。
The Song of Ice and Fire, by the famous American fantasy novelist George R. Martin, quickly conquered the world literary world with its unique structure, plot and language. From the perspectives of western social culture and aesthetic awareness, this article explores the violent narrative in the novel, including the violent plot and language expression in the novel. It can be seen that novels affect readers’ aesthetic habits and reading expectations. The forms of violent narratives in the works - war, killing, blood and death - are the characteristics of violent narrative in the novel both in content and form, and the causes and influences of violent narrative.
