从学堂乐歌一直到上世纪七八十年代,合唱课(或者说唱歌课)一直是我国基础音乐教育的主要形式,它对于推动我国音乐教育事业发展起了持久而深远的作用。虽然随着时代的发展,人们审美需求日益多样化,各种形式的器乐教学开始在学校教育中扮演越来越重要的角色,但合唱在某种程度上强调共性发展的基础教育中依然有着不可替代的地位。回顾合唱教学的发展史,再谈合唱在素质教育中的作用还是十分必要的。
