本标准推荐的实践经验提供了奥氏体不锈钢设备在停工和连续停工期间,防止发生连多硫酸应力腐蚀开裂(SCC)的方法.本标准的目的是为了防止硫腐蚀产物与氧(或空气)和水反应,生成连多硫酸产生SCC.前提是空气和水与可以氧化的硫化物(H_2S、金属硫化物、元素硫)反应生成这种酸.主要的预防方法包括:避免进入氧(或空气),防止生成液态水和碱洗裸露的表面来防止连多硫酸的生成.
