研究外语学习者自我概念对外语教学和外语学习具有重要意义。一项对西北地区某普通高校大学生的英语语言能力自我概念进行的调查和分析结果显示,学习者英语语言能力整体自我概念倾向于消极,同时也在词汇、听力理解和口语表达等方面也确立了消极自我概念;但是在语音、语法、阅读理解和写作等方面确立了积极自我概念。另外,学习者对口语表达具有强烈信念,但其实际行动的意识却非常薄弱,这可能是受到了已确立的消极自我概念的影响。
Studying foreign language learners’ self-concept is of great significance to foreign language teaching and foreign language learning. A survey of the self-concept of English language ability of college students in an ordinary university in Northwest China shows that the overall self-concept of learners’ English language ability tends to be negative, and it is also established in vocabulary, listening comprehension and oral expression Negative self-concept; however, positive self-concept is established in pronunciation, grammar, reading comprehension and writing. In addition, learners have a strong belief in oral expressions, but their awareness of actual actions is very weak, which may be influenced by the already established negative self-concept.
