脱碳液或脱硫液中的五价钒(V~(+5))是起缓蚀作用的有效成份,而溶液中的V~(+5)易被硫化物、有机物质及还原性金属盐还原成V~(+4),所以在生产过程中要控制溶液中的钒量及其价态。我厂原采用δ-羟基喹啉络合,氯仿萃取富集后测定V~(+4),由总钒减去V~(+4)后得到V~(+4)的含量。此法络合物显色较慢,操作手续繁杂,分析结果误差较大,且不能直接测定V~(+5)。经文献及实验验证,拟采用邻菲啰啉—硫酸银分光光度法直接测定溶液中的V~(+5)。
